Karma – the rules that define the destiny of all beings, a law that is not imposed by an exterior force, but that is inherent in each and everyone of us.
Avaloketeshvara
This deity is one of the most popular divinities originating from Tibet. Regarded as Tibets guardian deity where he is known as Chenrezig. He is considered to be embodiment of the compassion of all the Buddhas and is easily recognised by his 1000 arms.
Amitabha Buddha
Amitabha is the Buddha of the western direction and Lord of the Western Paradise. He is the Father-Buddha of the Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, and thus compassion is his active reflex nature – here lies his chief significance. Amitabha means “Infinite Light.”
White Tara – A beautiful Thangka
This exquisite Thangka is painted in a classic central Tibetan style. The background of clouds, grass plains and water are of immense quality. The degradation of colours is near perfect, if anything this photo doesn’t do the painting justice.
Kurukulla – Description
She belongs to the familly of the Buddha Amitabha, and can be presented with 2, 4, 6 or 8 arms. Only the 2-armed form will be represented in white, while all the other forms will be represented in red.
